Replace the source image—do not stretch a thumbnail.
Google announced a 500 × 500 pixel minimum across categories from 31 January 2027, with warnings beginning in 2026. Earlier minimums may still apply before enforcement.
Safe resolution
- Find the original high-resolution product image.
- Use at least 500 × 500 pixels and keep the full product visible.
- Keep the file below Google’s maximum dimensions and size.
- Update
image_link, confirm it is crawlable, then refresh the feed.
